About
Advanced Counseling & Recovery is committed to the psychological wellness and growth of our clients. ACR was founded by a cognitive behavioral therapist who now uses a behavioral cognitive system of action where both behavior and thought work in concert.
Every patient is unique with their own journey. We base our treatment planning on an individual approach that helps you reach your goals at your own pace.
Team ACR is a private practice that is supervised by a fully licensed psychologist. In addition, ACR is certified to work with all court systems, court documents and requirements for driver’s license restoration and all legal matters.
How Can Therapy Benefit You
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a severe effect on mental health and created new problems for people already suffering from mental illness and substance abuse disorders. About 4 in 10 adults in the U.S. have reported symptoms of anxiety or depressive disorder during the pandemic with many adults reporting specific negative impacts on their mental health and well-being, such as difficulty sleeping (36%) or eating (32%), increases in alcohol consumption or substance use (12%), and worsening chronic conditions (12%), due to worry and stress over the coronavirus.
